The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that it will hold a public information session regarding the replacement of the Meadow Hill Road bridge over the New York State Thruway (I-87) from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024.

The СÀ¶ÊÓƵapp Enlarged City School District is hosting a district wide Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 29th from 5pm - 7pm at Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS).

Join South Middle School for their annual Hispanic Heritage Night on Tuesday, October 15th from 5:30-7:30pn. Join us in honoring Hispanic Heritage at South Middle School.

Scholars returned to the school in the afternoon having a deeper understanding of the history of the river and animals and people which inhabit both the water and the surrounding Hudson Valley.

The NFA Book Club will be reading My Throat an Open Grave by Tori Bovalino as their October selection.

The СÀ¶ÊÓƵapp Free Library together with many community organizations far exceeded their initial goals and engaged approximately 700 students and registered 228 targeted students aged 16 years and over.

The СÀ¶ÊÓƵapp Enlarged City School District is hosting a Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on Friday, October 18th from 6pm - 8:30pm at the СÀ¶ÊÓƵapp Armory Unity Center.

Join us for our school's innagural Hispanic Heritage Celebration! Come celebrate the diversity and contributions of Hispanic culture, and enjoy an inspiring day filled with joy, learning, and community!

NFA seniors gathered to watch the sunrise to kick off their senior year. The tradition started a few years ago with a sunrise celebration at the start of the school year and a sunset celebration at the end of the school year.

This event celebrates community members who have had a positive impact on our children and community, and welcomes students to a new school year.

This is a friendly reminder of important dates for October 2024 with additional information to plan ahead for the entire school year.

Our staff gathered to start the year out with some meaningful PDs as well as some time for breaking bread! We are super excited for the new school year and eager to go above and beyond!

Join us for an afternoon of culture and fun this Saturday, September 21st from 12pm - 3pm at the СÀ¶ÊÓƵapp Free Library pavilion, located at 124 Grand Street, СÀ¶ÊÓƵapp.

Beginning today, Tuesday, September 17th, and continuing through Thursday, September 19th, school bus drivers will be completing roster checks for elementary students to confirm that students are boarding their assigned buses.
